Think Thanksgiving
To start your centerpiece project, you need to think of fall and Thanksgiving. Consider all of the items that bring Thanksgiving to mind. Picture leaves and pumpkins and even apples. There are certain items that are undeniably associated with fall and thanksgiving, and they should be the items you use in your centerpiece.
Gather Your Supplies
You will need few supplies to get started. Grab a platter the centerpiece can sit in. Also, pick up three small pumpkins, along with mini pumpkins. You will also need apples and some greenery, such as leaves, kale or parsley. In addition, a small potted plant will add to the centerpiece.
Creating Your Centerpiece
Take your small plant and place it on one side of the platter and put two pumpkins on either side of it. Then, take your mini pumpkins. Spread them around the platter. Place as many as you can without making the centerpiece look overly crowded. You should be able to get a nice amount of small pumpkins in the centerpiece.
Then, take small apples and place them on the platter. Arrange them so they are around the different pumpkins. You can even place the apples underneath and on top of the pumpkins. You do not have to plan the placement perfectly. You will be able to make the items look great together as you place them all over the platter.
Lastly, use greenery to bring all of the times together. Put it between the apples, pumpkins and plant. This will intertwine the items and make the centerpiece much more effective. When the greenery is in place, everything will look as if it belongs together. Nothing will stick out.
Creating your own centerpiece is much more fun than buying a centerpiece from the store. Not only that, but you will have fresh items in your centerpiece that will give it a certain flair. The fresh items will be much better than plastic items you would receive from a centerpiece purchased at the store.
Tips for Creating Your Centerpiece
