Super Bowl Fiesta Theme Party Idea

A Southwestern theme is fun and easy to put together.  Throw together some bright colors along with a sombrero and you are ready to party.   You can journey to the South, even if you live in the North, East, or South.  Start off by making your own invitations.  Get creative with the wording.  Use the words Super Bowl Fiesta.  Maybe throw in a few other words that rhyme like siesta.  You could throw in a couple mini maracas to get your guests excited to attend.  

For decorations, consider getting a life sized cutout of a football player and add a sombrero to his head.  This is great to have for memorabilia pictures of your Super Bowl Fiesta.  Create a scene of cacti that are as big as the football player for an added touch to the picture.  Make a Super Bowl Fiesta door banner to welcome your guests.   

For some other decorations, use XLIV paper supplies, such as plates and cups.  Put them on a grass field table cover.  Have neon margarita cups for the drinks and use fiesta bandanas for napkins.  Fill up a few small sombreros with chips, pretzels, popcorn, etc.  

What better food to offer than tacos?  Tacos go hand in hand at a Super Bowl Fiesta.  Don’t forget all the trimmings.  

To make it feel even more like a Super Bowl Fiesta, provide your guests with some fun fiesta style party favors, such as:  sombreros, beer sunglasses, maracas, fiesta confetti clackers, and football beads.  

Super Bowl Mardi Gras Theme Party Idea

Hosting a Mardi Gras Party just screams fun!  This will be a Super Bowl party that will be talked about for years to come.  Make up your own invitations with Mardi Gras colors, which are:  purple, green, and gold.  Add in a foam cutout football with some Mardi Gras beads and your party invitations are ready to go! 

The key to a successful Super Bowl Mardi Gras party is the combination of football and Mardi Gras decorations.  Welcome your guests with a party banner that says, “Welcome to the Mardi Gras and Super Bowl XLIV.”  Hang up some inflatable footballs all around the banner.   Hang football dangles and Mardi Gras swirls from the ceiling.  String some football lights and Mardi Gras garland around the house or across the food table.  Sprinkle football confetti and gold coins on the tables.  Make up balloon bouquets out of yellow, green, and purple Mylar football balloons.

Get some Super Bowl XLIV and Mardi Gras paper supplies.  Great centerpieces for your tables are Mardi Gras Jester hats.  Wrap a lime green boa around the base.  Add in an inflatable football in the center of the hat.

These are just two Super Bowl themes you can try.  Consider a Backwards Super Bowl party or a Super Bowl Luau.  Just mix in some football and you will have a spectacular Super Bowl party.
