• Cardstock
• 2 paper fasteners or stapler or yarn
• Hole punch or sharpened pencil
• Paper cutter or scissors
• Decorations - foam stickers, markers, ribbons, etc.
• Glue
• Computer paper

Steps

1. Cut out strips for the coupons.  These can be any size and as many as you like.
2. Create coupons.  Ideas:  1 free dish washing, 1 free massage, 1 free foot rub, 1 free hug, etc.
3. To make the front and back cover, place the coupon slip on the cardstock for measuring purposes.  You will want to make the front and back cover about a ½ inch larger than the coupon itself.
4. Cut out the covers.
5. With a hole-punch or sharpened pencil, make two holes through the entire coupon packet.
6. Assemble together by using fasteners, stapler, or tying yarn through the holes.
7. Decorate the front however you like.

Supplies

• Alphabet beads
• Colorful beads
• Special colorful charm
• Keychain ring
• 24” stretch jewelry cord cut into two equal pieces

Steps

1. Line up the two pieces of jewelry cord side by side.  Tie together one end into a triple knot onto the keychain ring.
2. Determine what message you want to put onto your keychain.
3. Thread the top string with color beads.
4. Start with the first word of your message.  Place colorful beads in between the words of your message.
5. Once the top thread is filled with beads, tape the end of the cord to the table.  This will keep the beads from falling off.
6. Start beading the other string.  Continue to add colorful beads in between words of your message.
7. While holding the two ends of the cord together, thread one last bead into both strings.  Run the string through the bead again and loop it through the top and pull it tight.
8. Tie on the charm to the end of the string.  Knot it several times and trim the ends.  Be sure you do not trim it too close.

Potpourri Sachet

Women love fragrance and moms are no exception!  Make your mom a fragrant sachet that she can keep in her car, lingerie drawer, or desk drawer.

Supplies

• ½ sheet of felt
• Fabric to match felt at least 4 times the length of the felt
• Hot glue gun or needle and thread
• Scissors
• Ribbon (variety of colors at 8” long)
• Scented potpourri (handful)

Steps

1. Cut two squares form the felt.  (4” x 4”)
2. Put potpourri into the center of one of the felt squares.
3. Hot glue or sew squares together.
4. Fold the fabric in half to make it doubled up.  Fold over again in the same direction.  You should have a total of four layers.
5. Put your felt square on the fabric.  Place it so that you have a 1” border all the way around.
6. With scissors, trim three sides and leave the folded end alone.  This part will be the bottom of your sachet bag.
7. Hot glue or sew the left and the right sides together.  Be sure to leave the folded end on the bottom.
8. Turn the bag inside out.
9. Put the felt square into the bag.
10. Tie ribbon around the top of the open sachet bag to close.
11. Trim the top of the bag if you see any stray strings.
