Elvis Presley Theme Party - sounds a bit retro but I think it's fun if we can pull it off because of the music and costume. Any ideas or has anyone tried this? We don't want to be to cliche and awkward for the party.

I think Elvis themed parties are awesome. I was able to visit one of these parties and the guys were so into the character. I think that's the trick - if you don't think you can really feel like Elvis, then it's better not to wear the costume.

I also attended one of these parties but instead of requiring everyone to emulate Elvis, they hired an impersonator. He walked around talking as if he's the king and sang like the king he was actually funny as he can really tell stories in a very colorful manner.
