I'm looking for some new movie themes that features Aliens and Space. The "Aliens vs. Monsters" was a a good idea but kids just want to have something new always. I figured, if I could combine a few movies of the past, the party would be more interesting.

There's a new movie called "Planet 51" which is basically a reversal of roles. Instead of aliens visiting earth, an astronaut ends up in an earth-like world inhabited by aliens. Also check out "Avatar". I'm sure there are banners and souvenirs related to these movies that you can integrate to your space and alien party

If you want it old school, there are some great non-animated movies based on aliens. For example, "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "Men in Black", "Mars Attacks", "Starship Troopers".

I want to add something different. Instead of introducing too many characters in the party, focus on one movie - the one that your kids like. Pushing too many characters can be disrupting because they will just focus on the theme instead of having fun or interacting with the host.
