My friend is observing a tradition to have their house blessed by a priest. This should be a normal party but she is requesting that we have some additional activities like a house tour. Any tips would help especially for those familiar with this occasion.

That's actually a big tradition in countries identified to have large number Roman Catholics. If you haven't been to one yet, it's a simple activity but has a religious aspect attached to it

You can also have the guests bring in a bottle of anything to drink. I think it is a tradition for some people.

Some people, on this Catholic tradition, would cook and prepare lavish food. It's a blessing so it must be shared.
