St. Patrick's is still next year but I'm already anticipating the fun and drinking. But I want this year to be different - I want to let people know more about the history of the celebration rather than drinking. I have some ideas like posters and flyers but I need more input to pull it off

Green! Make things a lot easier by focusing on the color green. It's a simple, subtle but very imposing reminder about St. Patrick's Day.

If you want to make things a lot easier, look for an Irish pub right now and reserve a place there where you can party with your friends on St. Patrick's Day. You don't have to think of anything else because the pub will naturally be decorated with something special on that day.

Thanks for the ideas Mickey. I think this will be a lot easier since I don't have to spend sometime cleaning up before and after the party
