Small or Big Parties? 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
With the recent economy, is it still advisable for people to have lavish Christmas parties?

I say sporadic small parties - don't get everyone in one time because it's too expensive. Instead of giving everyone a grand party, invite them over for some good old fashion dinner. You can group them or see them family after family.

On my end, I still prefer one big party. You can invite everyone and get over the party planning difficulties in just one sitting. Just make sure that you start a party that will not cost you thousands of dollars.

I also agree with Mickey. One big party will allow you to prepare everything at once. Sporadic parties can be too tiring especially if you're meticulous on small details. Have one big party so that everyone will be together at least in Christmas. It's not that expensive as long as you have basic party meal.
