I'm swamped with work right now that I don't have any time left to plan for our Christmas celebration at home. Every year, my extended family gather at our house for a small party. As the host, I have to prepare something extra.

How can I rush things on the day before Christmas and still come out prepared ?

That's a tough one: what you need to do is to enlist everyone. I'm sure the Christmas spirit will be with your extended family.

If there's no option, you can stick to what works: stay on the same decoration and focus on sumptuous meal Merry Christmas

Here's what I did when I had trouble last Thanksgiving. I invited the family over the afternoon before thanksgiving dinner (they're just a few blocks away) so that they can help me prepare the food. The meal was great because everyone had a sense of work just to eat This might also work in your end.
