Rowdy Band Party 2 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 1
We're going to have a rock band coming over for our company anniversary and we expect it to be a bit rowdy and crowded considering the band is quite popular here.

My boss wants to make sure everything will be fine but it's going to be an open concert in a small space. Any ideas on how will we protect the band and the crowd?

Learn from the professional bands. They place a good number of security in front of the band facing the audience. If there's any trouble, security will surely be there to stop it. To avoid destruction, have the band in a closed area where each will be checked for sharp objects.

Here's an idea I learned from a school: they know they are going to have a pretty "interesting" party because of the rowdy students. What they did was to request two police cars to station outside the concert area at least an hour before the concert until everyone is home. The presence of the police and the security were able to control everyone. They know that anything bad will immediately have repercussions.

Here's another tip to prevent any potential trouble for band party: breathalyzers. Never let anyone in who registers more than the tolerable alcohol content. I know this can be a bit overkill but it will certainly prevent potentially dangerous people from getting in.
