Although Halloween is still next year, I just want to ask this question to start a conversation I have a 4-year old kid and we want to host a Halloween party next year. Of course, the occasion is scary but I want to customize it for my kid and his friends.

Look for Halloween stories that you can tell to the 5-year old kids. A good example is Charlie Brown's story on Halloween. The party of course will feature trick or treats from the adults in your neighborhood or they can just go to every adult in the house for some candy

This year, I had a bunch of kids with their parents carve pumpkin heads as activity in the party. You should try it out as well. The kids can simply watch but they will surely have some fun watching a pumpkin head created as they watch. They can later decorate the pumpkin heads
