We're having a unique Christmas Party in the office. Because everyone in the department loves to cook and bake, we're planning a Cookie Exchange theme. It's a cross between exchange of gifts with contest on who can create the best cookie I know we just have to bake a cookie to get into the mood but anything else we need to take care?

Anything baked! Bring cake, cupcake and anything you can get out of the oven. Food party should be very interesting since everyone will bring something to eat. Improve the atmosphere with more baked goodies.

If you're having the party in the afternoon, prepare different types of tea. There are also a good variations of ice-tea that you can bring to the party. They will greatly complement the cookies and baked goodies.

Thanks for the input guys, I especially liked the tea idea and I added some coffee for those who wanted variety. The party was fun although I didn't win the best cookie prize , I still learned a lot while everyone else was enjoying the party.
