I'm a bit paranoid but I'm already thinking about the post-party cleaning in our place. Any tips how will I prevent too much mess in our home without being too strict to the guests?

I know your concern so here's a tip: spillage should always be expected so you have to prepare some good cleaners the next day. When you're serving beer have cups instead of mugs or in bottles. Also use paper plates instead of Chinaware if you expect a lot of people for the party.

Have a time-line and list of priorities. For example, you need to address any spillage immediately after the party since items that just needs to be picked up do not leave any stains. It's also important to get help as much as possible. Assign people to do certain tasks after party so that after party problems will be prevented.
