My friend is going to have a "Really Flashy Party" which is basically a celebration of something unique and creative. The concept is simply awesome but I don't know how he can pull it off. What do you think? How can he send out a message that could be easily understood once the planning started?

For me, the "word of mouth" works. If it's a flashy party, making it exclusive creates more drama. The invites would just be given just a few days before the party itself.

Aside from telling friends and family, social networking sites like Facebook can also help in sending those information. Try to keep it exclusive though.
