Just would like to solicit opinions on layered cakes for birthday. It's for a kid (12 years old, girl) and I think that would be too expensive and it will require some really advanced planning even if the cake would just have two additional layers.

I don't think this really matters no matter what the preparation is. However, it should be noted that a layered cake is always expensive even if there are plans on creating this type of cake.

Layered cakes are expensive and not really that appropriate for a kids party. Why not try some cupcakes. It's relatively cheaper and looks good too. Kids will surely love it. You can also have them decorate their own cupcake.

Layered donuts are also great. They were even made as wedding cakes. How fun is that!!

Layered Cakes are really expensive, just the fact that it is layered so it really needs planning. You can also try, their suggestions. Mini-Cupcake or yeah even the Donuts! It's quiet cheaper. For sure, they would love it!

For sure, they would love it!

I agree with this, usually, kids would really love cupcakes or donuts.

I remembered when my sister had her birthday last month. She just had a lot of cupcakes and she loves it so much.
