Movies have also got me thinking about the party theme that I want for my birthday: I want cars on a specific lot watching some B-movies or a really old movie while we set-up some food in a buffet. Think of it as a nostalgic experience but it's going to emphasize on food

That's a great idea! A projector in the front yard with everyone enjoying the movie from their car or at least around it. Just make sure the acoustics (sound) will be good enough for everyone. Have fun!

If you are asking on what type of movies, I'll go for really old horror movies. That would keep everyone awake and interested.

Or you can opt showing really good classics like Gone With the Wind. Or Little Women. These are films that people won't get tired of.
