Ultimate Bridal Shower Punch Recipes
Believe it or not, many women come to a bridal shower for the sheer excitement of trying new punch recipes for bridal showers! It’s true. Punches have become a very festive tradition when it comes to bridal and baby showers. The sweetness of the punch just goes hand and hand with the sweetness of the occasion. The following bridal shower punch recipes will be a hit with everyone at the party. Choose one or choose them all!
Sparkling White Grape Juice Punch
What you’ll need:
2- 1/3 cups chilled white grape juice
4- 1/3 cups chilled lemon-lime soda
Green grapes
Combine the grape juice and soda in a pitcher or punch bowl. Place the grapes on toothpicks for each glass.
Limeade Slushy Punch
What you’ll need:
11 cups water
3 cups sugar
¾ cup limeade concentrate
2 liters lemon-lime soda
Lime slices
Combine the water, sugar and limeade concentrate in a 4 quart container. Dissolve the sugar and then cover and stick the mix in the freezer. Let it freeze for a few hours before serving. Push through the mixture with a spoon until it gets slushy. Add the soda just before serving and garnish with the lime slices. Alternatively, you can place the lime slices on the glasses.
Delightful Water Punch
This is a simple recipe, but it’s a great addition to any of the punches you choose to serve. It’s safe for all tastes.
What you’ll need:
1 tbsp lemon extract
1 tbsp citric acid
2 cups sugar
5 quarts ice water
Sliced lemon wedges
Combine the lemon extract, citric acid, sugar and water. Mix until the sugar has dissolved. Add the lemon wedges and you have yourself a delightful refreshing lemon water punch.
Strawberry Slush Punch
What you’ll need:
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 cup orange juice
2 cups unflavored seltzer
4 tbsp strawberry jam
2 cups ice cubes
Fresh strawberries
Combine the frozen strawberries with the orange juice, strawberry jam and ice cubes into a blender and blend into a puree. It makes a wonderful smooth punch. Cut the fresh strawberries and slip on the lip of glasses a sweet display.
Sherbet Punch
For the little girl in everyone, here’s a punch to make the girls at the shower smile.
What you’ll need:
1 quart raspberry sherbet
2 quarts cold ginger ale
1 quart cold pineapple juice
Mix the ginger ale and juice together in a large bowl and add sherbet in a large block just before serving.
Tropical Lemonade Punch
What you’ll need:
2 cups pureed mango
5 cups cold water
½ cup fresh lime juice
1 ½ cups sugar
Boil a ½ cup of water in a saucepan. Dissolve the sugar in the boiled water. Add the 5 cups of cold water, the mangos and the lime juice. Serve over ice.
Citrus Almond Punch
What you’ll need:
1 can frozen lemonade
1 can frozen orange juice
10 cups water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1 cup sugar
2 liter bottle of lemon lime soda
Mix it all together and serve. It’s delicious!
