Balloons

It’s a party right? Balloons are a wonderful way to go that are festive and not costly. If you have a local dollar store near by, you will score big time with a bunch of balloon arrangements. You can pick colors that represent the fall. The idea is to create color spots throughout the room. You can tie off each bouquet of balloons with something cute like a baby bootie or a baby bottle filled with fall colored jelly beans.

Other places to use these balloons are at mommy’s table. Tie a bunch to her chair as she is the queen of the party.

You can also tie a balloon to a basket filled with bottles, baby lotion, wipes, formula etc. and use this as a center piece for the table and supplies for mommy to take home.

Umbrellas and Tubs

If it’s fall, then there are probably some rainy days ahead. Using umbrellas for a fall baby shower is an adorable addition to decorations.

Collect several umbrellas that you have at home or borrow some from attending guests. Open them up and attach streamers to them that have beautiful fall colors. Next, have them hanging upside down from the ceiling. It looks really cool!

And tubs? Well, if you can find one of those plastic tubs that looks like a whale or some sort of water animal, fill it with some a baby shower punch and put in some rubber duckies. It’s another present mommy can take home afterwards and use and it’s inexpensive as well.

You can also use tubs to fill it with party favors or gifts.

Baby Shower Cakes

Have you seen these? They are great to place strategically around the room or even as centerpieces.

A baby shower cake is basically a diaper cake. Diapers are arranged in multiple tiers to look like a cake. Randomly place small baby toys and supplies in them and

it’s truly an eye catcher. The guests will be impressed with the creativity of this one.

Strollers and Cribs

Try using a stroller or baby crib to display the gifts.

Clothes Line

String a clothes line across the room and hang smaller gifts from them.

Alternatively you could hang some adorable girl or boy’s fall clothing across the line. What is cuter then little sweaters, booties and hats? Pick some fall colors and display them along the line.

Once you get going, you will come up with more cute ideas. Incorporate the outdoors. Bring in leaves or small tree statues with baby good hanging from the tree. The more you do the more you will create. You will see that it really doesn’t take much money to create a fabulous call baby shower.
