You do not have to be formal in your thank you note.  In fact, the more personal you can make it, the better.   If your host made a list of all the gifts each person made, then be sure to thank that person for that specific item.  If a list was not made, then try to vary what you write for each person.  Base what you write on the personal relationship you have with that person.  Add a special note of how you feel about them, a picture of you opening the gift or a picture of you setting up the gift, etc.

How to Make your Own Creative Baby Shower Thank You Cards

This is an idea to help you get you started.  Use your own imagination and let your creative juices flow.  These baby shower thank you cards are simple to make, but will look like you spent a lot of time and effort on them.

Supplies

• Blue blank cards
• White cardstocks
• Thank you rubber stamp or print out these words using a pretty font
• Paper trimmer
• White button
• Small flower punch
• Yellow marker
• Parcel string
• Glue or Tape
• White tag
• Ink pads – black/light pink/

Instructions

1. Stamp or paste the “thank you” onto the white tag.
2. Dab a portion of the pink colored inkpad over the white cardstock.
3. Punch out three small flowers out of the pink cardstock.  With a yellow marker, make the center of the flower.
4. With your fingers, shape the flowers.  Glue them to the white tag just a little bit under the “thank you” words.
5. Attach the string to the tag.
6. On another sheet of white paper, create a black background by dabbing the cardstock.
7. Mount the white cardstock stamped with pink onto the blue cards.  Be sure there is a white border on this sheet.
8. Sew the button onto the pink background cardstock.
9. Tie the tag to the button.
10. Make presents for the front of the baby shower thank you cards by using a mini wrapped parcel stamp or by making your own presents.  To make your own wrapped parcels, use a piece of colored paper and fold it into a mini parcel.  Tie a string or ribbon to the present.
11. Tape or glue the parcels to the front, just under the tag.
12. Open up the blue cards and decorate with baby stamps or stickers of baby stickers.
13. Write your personal message.
